Light the Way 5k is a family friendly fun walk/run fundraising event held at Nationals Park to benefit Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind. Walk or run the same scenic, accessible route through the ballpark and along the riverfront. The Kids Fun Run will take place on the warning track at 8:30 a.m. and feature a Nationals mascot! Enjoy live music, food, a silent auction, and giveaways. We are at capacity for volunteers so we thank everyone for the generous donation of their time and effort to the cause.

Since1900, Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind has been dedicated to helping the blind or visually impaired population of the greater Washington region overcome the challenges of vision loss. Our work enables people of all ages who are blind or visually impaired to remain independent, active and productive in our society.
