Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind's (CLB) 7th Annual Light the Way encourages people of all ages, particularly people who are blind or visually impaired, to maintain active and productive lifestyles. This year’s Light the Way fundraising event will provide participants with a morning of fun-filled exercise, camaraderie and musical entertainment. Join CLB and walk the scenic boardwalk in the Capitol Riverfront, participate in complimentary fitness mini-sessions, and enjoy lunch from on-site neighborhood food vendors. Following the walk and cool-down, take a seat in Yards Park and relax to the soulful tunes of accomplished blind pianist/musician, Mac Potts.
Support CLB by participating in the 7th Annual Light the Way! Proceeds from this year’s fundraising event will help CLB to remain a strong community resource for residents in the Washington metropolitan area for years to come.
Registration is FREE this year, but we encourage all participants to crowdfund! Click on "Participate in this campaign!" and register to walk. Once you register, be sure to hit the blue "Share" button on the upper right-hand corner of your personal campaign page. Use this sharing option as an easy way to spread the word through email, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. and garner support for CLB!
